SG2 Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("SG2", "we", "us") built Metasight to help Indian organisations comply with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). It follows that we hold ourselves to the same standard on this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect from visitors of this marketing site, why, and what rights you have over it.

What we collect

• Contact form submissions: name, work email, company, phone number, and any message you send us via the "Talk to our team" form.
• Cookies: necessary cookies to operate the site, and — only with your consent, set via the cookie banner — analytics cookies (usage patterns) and marketing cookies (campaign attribution).
• Account data: if you register for the Metasight product itself, account and organisation data is governed by your organisation's Data Processing Agreement, not this marketing-site policy.

Why we process it

Contact form data is processed under your consent to respond to your enquiry, follow up about a demo or pricing, and — only if you opt in separately — send product updates. Analytics and marketing cookies are processed under the consent you give (or withdraw) via the cookie banner at any time.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and for a reasonable follow-up period, and are deleted or anonymised thereafter unless you become a customer, in which case standard account-data retention applies. Cookie consent choices are stored in your browser for up to 180 days, after which the banner will ask again.

Third parties we use

We use Resend to deliver transactional emails (e.g. confirming receipt of your enquiry) and, if you opt in to product updates, to keep a marketing contact list. We use Vercel Web Analytics for aggregate, cookieless traffic statistics (it does not identify individual visitors). We do not sell personal data to third parties, and we do not share contact-form data with anyone outside SG2 except service providers strictly needed to operate this site.

Your rights under the DPDP Act

As a data principal, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you;
• Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Request erasure of your data once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected;
• Withdraw consent at any time (this won't affect processing already carried out);
• Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity;
• Lodge a grievance with our Grievance Officer, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India if unresolved.

Children's data

This website is intended for business enquiries and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
